Three New Imaging Related Apps Releases By Google Creative

If Microsoft has the Garage Project, Google has its personal Google Inventive Lab that churns out cool apps for Android. Now not that Google nonetheless must make extra many and get extra other folks to love Android, however it may be a laugh for builders to have some other outlet to discover and execute their extra inventive aspect. After the Alphabet initiative, Google during the lab has simply launched three apps that make the most of a cellular tool’s sensors and digital camera in new and distinctive tactics: Tunnel Imaginative and prescient, Landmarker, and Lip Switch.

Landmarker

The Landmarker turns out like the worse app. It is fascinating as a result of it is like an augmented fact device that permit’s you discover your environment. It presentations different landmarks, or fascinating stuff in a undeniable region. Simply aspect the telephone in a single course and similar knowledge shall be displayed. App does not actually use the digital camera and does not base knowledge at the photographs however slightly at the region of the telephone.

Lip Swap

Yes, you read that right. It's an app that lets you replace the mouth in a photo with yours. You can record a video that makes it look like the person in the photo is talking (sort of), but you're really just creating a small transparent area in an image for your mouth to be visible. You can erase other parts of the photo instead of the mouth, thus the "creative" part. It's a weird app, but I guess they're all kind of weird.

Tunnel Vision

Tunnel Vision is a fun but weird app that lets you distort your surroundings. The transformative filters can be panned or pinched to your heart's content. It works on videos and makes use of your GPS for the phone to detect movements and shakes. Based on the sample images, I know this one will make me dizzy. It's not really a relevant app but for the artsy ones, it's a fun way to make cool and creative videos you can share on the "cooler" social networks like Tumblr and Instagram.

All the three apps are currently on version 1.0.0 and Google Creative Lab can be expected to release more such apps in the future. Though at this point, it's not clear why Google's Creative Lab team released the three apps, as similar apps can be found on Google Play made by third-party developers.

Recently, Google was said to be working on an affiliate programme for Google Play that would allow independent developers, content creators, website owners, and companies to be paid a commission whenever a user clicks into Google's store through them and makes a purchase. Google was reported to start its affiliate programme initially by only selling content via its Play Movies and Play Music stores, but expand to other sections later on.
